Poker Night 8.24.07 @ 6:45pm

Here is the blog posting for 8.24.07.

There is a good possibility that this will be the last time we see Ryan for quite some time. He is thinking about returning to school on a full-time basis and living on campus. This leaves us with a vacancy in duties. Ryan has been acting as treasurer and collecting the money and also paying out the winners. This has been a huge help. If someone is willing to take over the duties of this thankless chore please let me know. You need to be reliable and show up by 6:30pm.

Next, please do not invite anymore people. At the beginning of the year we said no new people and somehow that has gone by the wayside. I really do not want to have more than 30 people on any given night. I would rather have 20 people on a slow night than have more than 30 people and tell someone that they cannot come.

I have also noticed that people are not coming on time. Is this problem due to the fact that we are starting to early or are people just getting lazy.

Next poker night is Friday August 10, 2007 @ 6:45pm. Please sign up if you are going to be there or not.

We had a couple of people who signed up but did not show up to the game last time. I hope that this does not become a problem, because if it happens again we may need to make changes in the setup. If you are not going to show up please call (508 431 4202 or 508 269 7419) so that we know you will not be coming.
